Flowering bulbs provide vibrant and colourful accents to the landscape, gardens and planters. Best used in mass plantings, their showy blooms are always worth waiting for!

Spring Flowering Bulbs: This group of bulbs is planted in the fall and typically becomes available for purchase in early September. Available throughout the fall, tulips, daffodils, crocus, hyacinth, alliums are the most commonly known, but the category is extensive with something for everyone.

Summer Flowering Bulbs: This category of bulbs consists of stunning blooms produced by dahlias, lilies, gladiolus, canna lilies and many more. The large and outstanding foliage of alocasias and colocasias also belong to this group of bulbs which are available for purchase in late March through the early spring. Plant these indoors to begin, or wait until frost has passed and plant directly into the garden or planters. *Note that summer flowering bulbs are not winter hardy in our areas and will need to be lifted and stored in the fall
